Assess Your Skin Before You Tan It
Various products offer various benefits. On two occasions, I was essentially told that tanning does not cause skin cancer. No effort was made to assess my skin type to determine exposure time.
Both can cause skin damage, including wrinkling and skin cancer. These vitamins are crucial to reducing aging effects on the skin. They'll also help with moisturizing which is an important part of the proper use of indoor tanning lotions. We can help you decide which skin care program would be best for you. We are available during office hours Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m.
The lighter your skin is the more sensitive it will be to the UV rays. If you have light skin you should only tan for about five minutes. It is important for you as an individual to know how sensitive your skin is to UV light. The more sensitive your skin is, the less sun exposure you should get. Sunless or self-tanning lotions contain an active ingredient known as dihydroxyacetone (DHA), a colorless sugar that darkens the skin by staining. DHA works by interacting with the dead surface cells found in the outermost layer of the skin, producing color changes.
Healthy hydrated skin will hold its tan longer. Softer skin allows UV light to penetrate with greater ease, allowing the body to produce melanin. And make sure you follow up your bath or shower with Nutrimetics and Avon body lotions to keep your skin silky smooth.
